Controlling your pool equipment
Your equipment is automatically controlled.
To take temporary manual control of your pool equipment:
- Navigate to the My Pool page
- Click Pool Equipment
- Select the equipment you want to run
- Select the duration & click ‘Start’
Devices may take a few minutes before turning on.
Putting the system in manual mode
To put your system in manual mode:
- Navigate to the My Pool page
- Click Pool Equipment
- Under ‘Pool System‘, click ‘Manual‘ and confirm
Devices may take a few minutes before turning off.
Configure your equipment to run as desired.
Remember to restore the system to ‘Auto’ when done.
Tuning your Sanitation Level
If you feel your pool has consistently too much or too little sanitizer you can adjust it up or down.
Normal will be correct for most pools and any changes may take a day or two to become apparent.
- Navigate to the My Pool page
- Click Sanitiser Adjustment
- Select the level of adjustment desired
Water Quality
The Water Quality indicator detects a variety of conditions such as failing chlorinators and high pH. It does not detect cloudiness, staining, and other physical factors.
Click on an individual tile to reveal more information.
Please physically check the condition of your pool before swimming and only swim if you feel comfortable to do so.
How do I backwash my pool?
- Navigate to the My Pool page
- Click Pool Maintenance
- Click ‘Start’ under Guided Backwash
- Follow the instructions
What operating systems are compatible with the Pooled Energy Application?
The Pooled Energy Application is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Apple iOS, iOS 13+
- Android
Why is my equipment shown as ‘not loading’?
Check your internet connection and ensure that the equipment is powered on.
Why is my equipment shown as ‘unavailable’?
Check your internet connection and ensure that the equipment is powered on.
Equipment may also be unavailable due to high temperatures, communications issues and other safety precautions.
Why hasn’t my Water Quality updated?
Water Quality readings only update when the system is running.
Check your internet connection and ensure that the equipment is powered on.

Check the amount of storage left on your phone and if low, clear up some space.
